March 29, 2008On Monday, March 31, Kalamazoo, Michigan's rock station 107.7 WRKR will welcome native Michigan son Ted Nugent in the studio for a full hour to discuss a wide variety of topics, including politics, guns, hunting, rock 'n' roll, and anything else Ted wants to talk about. Ted will also take calls from listeners and answer their questions.
The host is longtime afternoon jock and WRKR program director Freakin' Jay Deacon.
Ted Nugent is expected to be in studio at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
You can listen to the program live via the Internet at www.wrkr.com.
Ted Nugent's new album, "Love Grenade", was released on September 4 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Nugent's first set of new material in five years was co-produced by NIGHT RANGER's Jack Blades, Nugent's partner in the long-dormant DAMN YANKEES.
Nugent told Billboard.com that "Love Grenade" "is an absolute representation of where I am on all levels. We come from the old school of sh*tkicker, R&B-driven, grinding guitar lovemaster. When you hear it, you're gonna just smile, close your eyes and go, 'Nugent!' It's such a classic piece of what we were brought up on."
